Sabudane Ki khichdi is healthy and nutritious. We can prepare and take it during the day of fasting. To prepare this recipe follow the steps given below.

Ingredients for Sabudane ki Khichdi

  1. Sabudana -100gms
  2. Boiled potato – 2 or 3 pieces
  3. Groundnut – 25gms
  4. Green chilli – 3-4 pieces
  5. Dhania patta – just for decoration
  6. Black Pepper – 1/2 tablespoon
  7. Cumin seed (Khada Jeera) – 1/2 tablespoon
  8. Salt / Sendha Namak (if fasting) – As per taste
  9. Lemon (Nimbu) – 1piece

Steps to create Sabudane ki Khichdi

  1. Soak Sabudana in water for 3-4 hours, after that remove it from water and keep in another bowl
  2. Heat oil or Ghee in frying pan/ Kadhai
  3. Fry groundnut in that pan and keep in somewhere.
  4. In the same oil/Ghee put Cumin seed/Jeera. After Cumin seed gets fried put green chilly and small pieces of boiled potato and fry it.
  5. Fry it till potato gains golden colour after potato gets fried mix Sabudana in that pan and in low flame fry it.
  6. Fry it till Sabudana gains transparent colour,
  7. Now mix salt, black pepper in the mixture and mix it.
  8. After that take out the mixture in a serving plate and put lemon juice as per taste and dhania on the mixture
  9. It is ready to be served.
